Literature Text

How can you listen to your soul?
When can you speak to it?

Sometimes when you're in such tribulation,
When you cannot sleep, Restless in the night

When you can feel the movement of the Earth,
Or when you're calm and still in your Body and Mind

                          You can hear these voices,
Godly voices that speak to you

Sometimes these voices come to you in dreams and visions,
In many ways, in some ways
Giving you tasks and paths that God asks of you

But do not shut the door to your heart to His will,
Do not ignore the words of God that has been presented to you by your soul

For your soul looks after you,
It advises you to do it,
For there is a reward in completing the task,
A reward of Happiness and pure joy

                         Always listen to your soul,
For God has placed it to guide you through the storm,
                         To answer your quandaries,
And to lead you to eternal happiness
Wrote it in 2007, When I was a sophomore. It was a time when I was so depressed, take this poem really seriously, it can help, it helped me when I first wrote it. Don't have to be a hater just cuz I wrote God in it, He can help too u know!.

Josh,

This feels like the process visual artists go through while exploring the essence of creativity. It can access a full gamut of emotions that aid in the work we do. I am glad you were able to find a channel to express yourself. Keep up the good work.
